Orphanage project - Kids need to feel loved and cared!

Several months ago we the youth of our Church started a project in an orphanage in Straseni town. Through this project we want to help those kids that feel alone and have no love from the parents to learn that there is someone great that loves and cares for each of them!

Every Sunday during two hours five to seven young people from our church would go and play with around 30 to 40 children at the orphanage! It was and is a blessing to see them every week, to play with them! To teach them and sing songs with them!! :D But the most amazing is the privilege to love and be loved by those great kids! Every week they would come and play with us, listen to what we are telling them and long for hugs and our love!

The age is so different there! We had 5-6 years old kids and also 15-16 years old teens! It is wonderful to see God's love, to see what a great plan He has for each of them!

I would say that these months were a great learning for each young person from our church that was coming and spending time with them! We saw the need, the hope and the love of those young people! Each of us would be hugs and kissed so many times during our visit that I don't think we ever received so much love like there! And the only think they wanted back...was love and care! :D

We are thankful to the Lord for this amazing and wonderful experience!
We had to say bye to summer, cause most of them will be hopefully gone to host families and summer camps as well as other places for summer! But we are looking forward to continue this experience in the fall when the schools starts!

Many blessings to all and have a great summer!

May 14, 2011 Soccer Christian Championship

Spring time brought  a lot of fun times and games! One of them was the Christian Soccer Championship that took place in Chisinau were different churches played soccer. The main goal of these games was to share the Gospel to the young people participanting in the Championship. Each participating Church invited a group of non-believers to play football (soccer) and have the chance to win the final game and take the first place.
There were more than 10 teams and they played several weeks to finnaly get to the finals!

Among the participants our Church from Vatra also was represented by a great team of guys that actually took the first place in the championship! It was a great time! We got the chance to and talk to our team! Also we invited them to a special evening organized to celebrate their victory where we had the chance to talk to them about the most important victory in their lives - TO BE SAVED AND HAVE ETERNAL LIFE! :D God blessed us with these people and we are looking forward to see how He will continue His work in their lives! Several of them are open to talks and meetings with our youth leader as well as with the youth!

Please pray for this new ministry that our church started and may God's name be glorified through all we do!
Many blessings to all!

November 27, 2010 - Youth meeting at Bethlehem church!

It is great to be able to spend time with friends and family! What can be better than spending time with God's family? On November 27, 2010 our church is organizing a youth meeting with young people from surrounding villages (Truseni, Cojusna and several people from Chisinau Church). This is a great opportunity to meet new people, get connected and the most important - grow in relationship with our GREAT CREATOR!!
That day will be special also because our friends from Scotland will be visiting our church and the young people will get the chance to meet amazing people, God's servants and great brothers!!

Please pray for this event!! For wisdom for those planning it and being responsible for all the activities during the event! Also pray for all those young people who will hear about this event - so that they will come and learn about God! Get reconnected with GOD and HIS family! Pray for speakers and the worship team! I know God will do a great job on this day!

GREAT TIME TO SPEND WITH GOD!!!

Moving forward! Winter retreat for young people from Vatra town

We are very happy to share with you our great vision on organizing a winter retreat for young people from Vatra town. We are inviting everyone to going us and mostly we hope to have a lot of non-believers that will have a chance to meet God! To trust their lives to Jesus Christ! With God's help we are planning to have around 50 people! We plan to invite people from other churches to speak and have a special message! The retreat will take place on January 7-9,2011.
Every day will have different topics and games!
We as a church hope to be able to show an example of God's love! To build relationships with them and to help them learn more about God! At the same time we will be able to learn a lot of new things and apply it in our daily life!

Your prayers and help is needed!
Pray for
1. For all invited people, we want them to accept our invitation and spend the most important days with us as a family;
2. Also please pray for the speakers as they prepare their messages! May God guide their thoughts and ideas! May God use them as instruments to talk to all people at the retreat!
3. The management team needs our prayers too, as they prepare this event, find the best location they can, plan all the activities. May God give them all wisdom and strength in all they need to do!
4. We know God has planned it even before we started thinking about it! :D We want to be used, but as you know every event needs planning, organizing and of course money.... To be able to organize the event we need approximative $750. We have already raised $200, participants fee will be $5/person, which is another $250, so we need another $350 to make it happen :D I know that with God all is possible! GOD IS GREAT! and HE can do all things possible!

I know I talked to several people about this retreat and I was not aware of the total amount of money we needed, so I was telling how much I thought we might need, but after talking to my friend Anya from Moldova, she gave me the correct numbers. So I apologize to misleading some of you :D . I know God will help raise the money we need and I trust Him in this adventure!

Thank you for being near us, for your prayers and support!
Blessings to you all,
Ana

Praise GOD!!! HE IS THE PROVIDER!!!!

Praise God and give thanks for all His care and comfort!
First of all we want to thank every person that was praying for our pastor and his family! God was good to provide the money they needed to pay the loan and they managed to save their home! It is great to see them happy again, having peace and just praising God for this amazing miracle!!
God shows His love in different ways and we witnessed how GREAT GOD is!!

Thank you again for everyone involved in this ministry!
May God bless all of you and keep you involved in our work!

Our Children - the heart of our church - Mission Nr.1

Children are the most beautiful gift from God to us people!
Our church hosts around 7-9 children for Sunday School ( it is different from other countries... we have Sunday school only for kids). We are blessed by teaching beautiful, smart and intelligent children from the village. We have several children from non-christian families, but they like to come and the parents are opened to their desire. For this amazing kids we organize different activities, games, lessons and camps (summer and winter camps). Several of them are coming from very vulnerable families - alcoholics and jobless, others have both of their parent abroad and are living with their grandparents which are not taking care of them properly! But still when you see their BIG smile - you are filled with love, peace and hope!
I don't think there is a better work for a persons than to be with kids, teach them, learn from them and just listen to them! THEY ARE SO SMART!
We just love them! :D And the most important: God is using our little church to plant HIS seed in them! They are growing up so fast! But the Word of GOD will always be with them any place they go!
We are so grateful to be involved in this ministry!
God bless them and we hope to be able to continue our involvement!

A taste of "Betleem" Church from Vatra

"Betleem" Church was build recently and hosts around 20-25 members and 10-15 young people and teenagers! We are a small church but with a big heart! Our main goal as a family is to serve God! To help others and reach the community!
Vatra is a small town with 3700 people, but will a lot of them abroad - due to heard economic situation many people chose to go abroad illegally and make at least some money for the family.
We (Vlad and Natalia) moved to Vatra in 2001, very soon after we got married. God blessed us with two amazing kids and beautiful family.
Since we came there were a lot of changes and movements of population in Vatra, but God has blessed us with an apartment that we used for reaching people, offering meals and just having fun.

We love having people coming over to our place! Teenagers and young people from the church use our home for role play rehearsal, girls clubs and movie night as well as just stopping buy for a coffee or tea. We adore their presence, commitment and involvement in our church! Without them ( our youth and teens) our church would not be the same. Our children Mihaela and Marin love hanging out with the youth of our church! Many times this great people were baby sitting them and helping us out when we needed it ( and there were many times!). This is our family!
We Thank God for the great opportunity to be part of  this church and this family.
